Assistant Clerk Vacancy

Bargoed Town Council wishes to expand its office team by recruiting a part time Assistant Clerk to the Council.  The role will involve supporting and working with the Town Clerk.  The person appointed will have a flexible can-do approach, with enthusiasm and a commitment to growing in the role as the town council develops.

The Assistant Clerk will report to the Clerk and will be based in the Town Council office.  The role is part time at 12 hours per week, to be worked over 2 separate days Tuesday to Thursday.  Applicants will need to be available to occasionally work in the evenings (dependent on meetings, which will be paid as overtime).
