About us
Bargoed Town Council serves the residents of Aberbargoed, Bargoed and Gilfach. The Council is split into four wards with the additional ward of the Park Estate. At the 2011 census there were circa 12,000 residents of the Greater Bargoed Area.
There are 13 Members of Bargoed Town Council.
The Council currently employs one member of staff in the combined role of Clerk/RFO.
Bargoed Town Council are fortunate to benefit from the support of a few volunteers who help the Council deliver several community events.
