Councillor Josephine (Josie) Bissex

Peacefully passed away on 22nd January 2026, aged 88 years, of Savannah, Park Road, Bargoed.

Beloved widow of Lewis, much-loved mother of Stephen and Christine, adored grandmother to Kira, Tom and Hollie, dear aunt cousin and friend to many.

The funeral service for Josephine will take place on

Friday 20th February at St Gwladys Church,12:45pm

(Church Place, Bargoed, CF81 8RP)

followed by interment at Brithdir Cemetery.

Procession

The cortege will leave her home in Park Road at 12.15pm.
