Gilfach Branch Surgery Closing 3rd April 2020
Aneurin Bevan Health Board advised that this decision was made to ensure that the practice can continue to deliver safe, effective care to patients and to support the future sustainability of the practice. Patients who currently access services at Gilfach will be able to continue to access their General Medical Services from the main site in Gelligaer after this time.
Patients do not have to do anything as they will remain registered with Meddygfa Gelligaer. Alternatively, patients can choose to register with a neighbouring practice if they wish to do so, providing they reside within the practice boundary.
