STATEMENT OF GENERAL EFFECT
The general effect of the order will be to provide Limited Waiting Bays Mon-Sat 8am to 6pm 30 minutes no return within 1 hour within the new laybys that will be provided along High Street / Hanbury Road, Bargoed
STATEMENT OF REASONS
The provision of new laybys including limited waiting bays within those laybys will provide extra parking provision along High Street / Hanbury Road, Bargoed for those wanting to utilise the shops and encourage appropriate turnover of vehicles. This will improve road safety, particularly for the benefit of children and other vulnerable road walking along the footway due to the current illegal footway parking along High Street / Hanbury Road, Bargoed as well as encouraging more members of the public to utilise the shops.

(Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and On Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2019 (Amendment Order No 1) 2020
The Caerphilly County Borough Council (the ‘Council’) in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the ‘1984 Act’) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (the ‘2004’ Act) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act hereby makes the following Order:
1 CITATION AND COMMENCEMENT
This Order shall come into operation on the day of 2020 and may be cited as the Caerphilly County Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and On Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2019 (Amendment Order No 1) 2020
2 EFFECT OF THE ORDER
The Caerphilly County Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and On Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2019 shall be amended by:
a) The revocation of Plans P48, P49 and P50 attached to this Order and the insertion of Plans P48A, P49A and P50A to this Order.
