Please note the following road closures, car park closures and traffic systems during the event:
ROAD CLOSURES, CAR PARK CLOSURES AND TRAFFIC SYSTEMS:
A full road closure of Hanbury Square, Hanbury Road, High Street and Upper High Street from 10.30pm on the Friday before the event until 8.30pm on the event day. Emporium Car park will close at 10.30pm on the Friday before the event until 8.30pm on the event day. All vehicles must be removed from the car park before the closure is in place.
RETAILER ACCESS:
Please arrange deliveries prior to 10.30pm on the Friday before the event and after 8.30pm on the event day or between 3.00am – 7.00am. There is no access to HGV vehicles during the event.
RESIDENT ACCESS:
No parking is permitted on Hanbury Square, Hanbury Road, High Street and Upper High Street from 10.30pm on the Friday before the event until 8.30pm on the event day. Alternative parking arrangements must be made. A diversionary route around the town centre will be in place for the duration of the road closure. Residents of West Street, Cross Street and Capel Street will need to use alternative routes. No access will be permitted onto Hanbury Road from 10.30pm on the Friday before the event until after 8.30pm on the event day.
BUS STOPS/ROUTE:
All buses will operate directly to/from Bargoed Interchange and will not serve Hanbury Square or Royal Square. Buses on route C18 and X38 will operate via Wood Street, Ruth Street and Henry Street and will not serve Hanbury Square, Royal Square or Murray’s.
